Thespia Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Thespia. By using the service, you agree to them.

Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your Google or Apple account secure. You must provide accurate information and use Thespia only where you are legally permitted to do so.

Your content and permissions

You keep ownership of the screenplays, notes, recordings, and other material you submit. You give Thespia and its service providers a limited permission to process that material only as needed to provide, secure, and support the features you request.

You may upload content only if you own it or have permission to use it. Do not use Thespia to violate intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights, or to create unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or harmful material.

Ownership and commercial use

Thespia claims no ownership of your underlying scripts or generated audio. As between you and Thespia, you retain your rights in the material you submit and any rights you have in the results. This does not transfer rights belonging to someone else or create rights that the law does not recognize.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit and process your material. Before publishing, distributing, selling, licensing, or otherwise commercializing a script or generated performance, you must own or obtain all rights required for that use, including any applicable adaptation, performance, recording, distribution, voice, likeness, music, and contractual permissions. Permission to read a script does not necessarily include permission to adapt or commercialize it. Paying for Thespia or generating audio does not clear these rights for you.

The processing permission above is non-exclusive and limited to hosting, copying, transmitting, adapting into requested outputs, and delivering your content to operate the features you use. It does not permit Thespia to sell your script, publish it for our own promotion, or claim ownership of it. It lasts only as needed to provide those features and handle the limited retention described in our Privacy Policy.

Generated results

Automated casting, direction, transcription, and audio can contain mistakes or unexpected results. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on, publishing, or distributing them. Thespia does not guarantee that generated material is unique or suitable for a particular production.

We do not guarantee that generated results are copyrightable, exclusive, free of third-party rights, or cleared for commercial use. Provider-specific restrictions may apply to the voices and services used. Synthetic speech does not establish participation, approval, or endorsement by a real person. Do not misrepresent it as doing so. Thespia does not provide legal advice or rights-clearance services.

Rights complaints and misuse

Report suspected infringement to the contact below with your contact information, identification of the protected work and disputed material, and enough information for us to locate it. We may restrict access to disputed material while investigating and respond to valid legal notices. We may terminate accounts for repeated infringement where appropriate. We do not adjudicate ownership disputes or guarantee that every submission has been cleared.

Claims arising from your content

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify Thespia against third-party claims, resulting damages, and reasonable legal costs to the extent caused by your infringement of another person’s rights or breach of your content and permissions obligations above. This does not cover claims caused by Thespia’s own breach, negligence, or misconduct. We will give prompt notice of a claim, reasonably cooperate at your expense, and allow you to control its defense with qualified counsel. No settlement may admit fault for, impose a non-monetary obligation on, or fail to fully release the other party without that party’s consent.

Credits, availability, and changes

Some operations use credits based on the work requested. Any price or credit estimate shown before an operation is subject to the final usage rules displayed in the service. Features may change, pause, or be discontinued, and we may limit use that threatens the service or other users.

Termination

You may stop using Thespia at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated violations, security risk, nonpayment, or unlawful use. Provisions that logically survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits—will continue to apply.

Disclaimers and liability

Thespia is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted service or error-free output. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thespia is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, or waives mandatory consumer rights, remedies, or your right to give an honest review. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
